After we took them to the airport, we went to church, where I cast on for the Fetching gloves I was going to make for Bethany. Some of the kids were watching as I knit, and not only had they wanted to learn, they also wanted me to make Fetchings for them. I have so much knitting to be done, and so little time to do it. What am I going to do?
That night, we went to Walmart, where I got a swimsuit and some yarn. It is for an Elmo washcloth I want to make for Sam (mostly for my mom to give him baths with), as a 4.5 yr old birthday gift. The 4.5 yr old celebration is a family tradition...it means having to sleep in your own room, because we are late bloomers. Maybe Sam will actually want to take baths...if it were with Elmo. It is a lovely skein of Peaches and Creme.

This morning, I finally finished the seaming for the cardigan. The collar is an inch short, but I managed to stretch it out. This is a picture I snapped while I was seaming it; the actual sweater just went through some major blocking because it is too small.

I'm so glad the knitting (and the boring hours of seaming) is done. Hopefully I can wear it out soon.
