I didn't really knit as much as I should have today. But I did spend most of the time at my friend's house. We went over to her godmother's house. It was awesome, and her godmother was great to have around. She had a sewing machine, so we FINALLY made our tails (FINALLY some sort of an FO). I'll show you Bethany's tail later, maybe in a video, but here's mine:
A section of the seaming is ripped but it's not that obvious. In addition, Bethany broke my monofin.
I also think I know why many knitters hate Red Heart. The fact that it's acrylic might have to do with it, but the center was tangled like crazy. I had to cut the yarn from my cabled scarf and wind it. This is what I got:
And that's not even all of the center. The rest is my failed attempt at using a glass jar to wind the yarn into a center pull cake. Of course I remembered to rejoin the yarn though=D
